Okay, here are a couple of books that I just finished, and would highly recommend....
Susan Grant's THE SCARLET EMPRESS.
Cameron "Scarlet" Tucker is a kick-ass heroine, a pilot put in deep freeze so that she can save our worldl 170 years from now. Who says women are lousy drivers, anyway?
John Lescroart's THE HUNT CLUB
John's latest book just came out, and I couldn't put it down. He introduces a new hero, Wyatt Hunt, who is just as smart, fun, and endearing as Dismis Hardy. Trust me, and it won't leave your hands until the very last page...
Reading MJ Rose can be obsessive: she sucks you in, and keeps the sex and suspense coming. So far, every one of her books have been fabulous, so know you can't go wrong.. This is the second of her Dr. Morgan Snow series, the first being THE HALO EFFECT, so pick up that one first...better yet, get both. You deserve a double treat, right?
Julie Kenner's THE MANOLO MATRIX
The second in this hilariously suspenseful (hey, trust me, IT WORKS) series that began with THE GIVENCHY CODE will keep you on the edge of your classic Eames chair....fashionably fun!
Besides its obviously gotta-have-it cover, Karin writes great tongue-in-cheek...Wry and dry as a good martini. Bottoms up! (Bad pun, what can I say....)

Mary Castillo's IN BETWEEN MEN
Mary does it again! Another laugh out loud read about a woman having a bad relationship day--make that year--until she finds the 'tude that puts everything in perspective. Yep, I'm here to tell you that there's always something about Mary Castillo's heroines...
Deanna Carlyle's WELCOME TO WISTERIA LANE
One of my favorite Brit chick lit authors, Deanna Carlyle, has penned an insightful essay for this anthology that scrutinizes our fascination with DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. You'll love her take on the show, as well as that of authors Beth Kendrick, Julie Kenner, and Shanna Swendson.
Amanda's debut novel is cute and brash and fun--the ideal way to spend a cold wet day. Like Victoria Hart, Amanda's heroine, I was once a "wing woman," (ah, dem's was the daze....but I digress...) so I can truly relate--and so will you, trust me!
AND BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR....
Karin Tabke's GOOD GIRL GONE BAD
RELEASE DATE: SEPTEMBER 2006
Karin's prose is clean, crisp, and just kinky enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. A straightlaced by-the-book female cop who goes undercover has her hands full (literally and figuratively) with a kidnapper and a bad boy cop who is hard to resist. This is the first in Karin's Hot Cops series, and well worth the read.
RELEASE DATE: SEPTEMBER 2006
Kit's not only a doll, but a witty novelist as well, and her debut novel proves it! Banished to the "death page" at the Austin Sentinel after sleeping with her boss, Cauley Mackinnon is eager to shed her shameful title as the obituary Babe and put her new journalism degree to good use. When her childhood friend Scooter Barnes, exotic pet store owner and former Dallas Cowboy, threatens suicide, she sneaks into the crime scene and manages to talk him out of it. But Scooter is later found dead and everyone-a hot FBI agent, a menacing one-eared maniac, the Argentinean mafia, and a flirtatious agent-wants the scoop on what he told Cauley in his last hours. Up to her eyelashes in dead bodies, Cauley gets mixed up in a Texas-sized hunt for Scooter's killer and also manages to fall for a couple of cuties involved in the murder case. A truly fun book!
