Francisco Park, next to the Cable Car to the Stars
I've just released my mid-August newsletter, and it includes a love letter from the New York Times, to one of my favorite parks, Francisco Park in Russian Hill, with a bird's eye view of San Francisco Bay.
I took this video from that same bench where the newspaper's photo was taken. But I took it one step further and followed one of San Francisco's cable cars climbing to the stars.
By the way, I also a few new contests I'm currently running:
The Housewife Assassin's Manners, Missiles, and Mayhem Excerpt Launch Contest, where I'm giving away three $50 gift cards. One of the winners also gets an American flag and a print copy of the book too;
My Author Provocateur podcast interview with Rhys Bowen about her latest historical novel, Where the Sky Begins. Please enter for a chance to win a copy of the book.
My podcast interview with one of the masters of the police procedural mystery novel, Lee Goldberg, on his latest in his Eve Ronin series, Movieland. Again, we've got a copy of the book for the winner of the excerpt contest.
Though we're coming to the end of our summer vacations, there is still some long, warm days to sit on a lounge chair—or a bench in a beautiful park—with a wonderful book.
Enjoy,
Josie
