So, the other day I passed a Gratitude Tree.

It had some really thoughtful notes strung on it.

Each writer had memorialized something that was personally profound, but mainly they expressed appreciation for a random act of kindness or a blessing for some gentle grace granted humanity from the Universe.

I thought of the vision wand planning that went into creating this Gratitude Tree: choosing a high-limbed smooth-bark tree that was right on a street in which others would not feel self-conscious or too harried to stop, look, and read. Finding yarn with colors that are inviting. And writing that very first note that encourages others to think of all the reasons that they too are grateful.

It's a wonderful concept.

If you could pin a note on it, what would you write?
